So, I took the long way to the train station this morning. Left about 30 minutes early (it’s only a 10 min trip,) and took the curviest route possible.
It’s nice arriving at the station smiling instead of the usual scowl I wear during most commutes. Then I hop on this bad boy for the rest of the trip...

I was up early (and I’m stuck working overtime), so I left at 6 and had a fantastic traffic free drive across down with Daft Punk thumping my chest.

September through June I'm sweating my ass off because my wife and I carpool. She's always cold, so I turn the heat up and melt on my way to work. The other couple of months when she's off? I ride with the windows down. Most of my commute is highway, typical speed is 70mph or so.

Haha I dont know, you’re right though, it doesn’t seem as prevalent.
I always kind of questioned it, kind of like when restaurants had smoking sections one fern away from the non-smoking section. No way the air stays seperate in a small space

I can relate as that little RS has a short ratio gearbox. 4.18 final drive FTW! I literally shift to second before I reach the curb at the end of my driveway. Hence the train part of my commute...

I love driving before 7am. I’ll even deal with the alarm clock on a Saturday if it means I get to go on a fun drive.
